Happy New Year!

My new years tiding's are a little behind schedule as I've taken a bit more time off for myself after the holiday rush of 2014!  But better late than never so...Happy New Year!  What a whirlwind the last two months have been.  Thank you all so much for a wonderfully busy season!

As I think about the past year I am reminded of all the wonderful adventures, opportunities and people that 2014 brought. A great big thank you for all your love and support! You (my friends, family, followers, customers and clients) make it possible for me to have my dream job and you continue to motivate me and push me forward as my business grows and changes. Thank you Carmel Arts Fest

My last outdoor show of the year was last weekend.  I have a strange relationship with outdoor shows,  a love/hate relationship.

I love setting up outside when the weather is beautiful and the show traffic is fabulous.  I love seeing all my long time customers and old friends.  I love meeting new customers and friends and I love being able to tell all of you about my work in person.  Getting feedback on designs and styles, gemstone colors and cuts is invaluable.

I dislike very much (hate is too strong of a word) setting up and breaking down my booth, lugging my tent and all of my displays and weights around.  When the weather is bad and rainy or too windy or too hot it makes the shows pretty hard to do with an upbeat positive outlook and they become very stressful.

All of that being said...my spring/summer show season was pretty great!  I did fewer this year than the previous year and I think it was the right move.  With all of the changes in my life and my business this year it felt nice to slow down a little and focus on myself, my relationships, my health and happiness and my future plans for my business.

I'm headed into my busy season with a very full plate!  To see all of the shows I have scheduled check out my events page.  There are a few trunk shows in the works that I will keep you all updated on when I know the final details.

THANK YOU for all your support so far this year!  I can't wait to finish out this year (and holiday season) with a bang!
